Anthony Baker is the Founder/Executive Director of Crossroads Counseling, Educational and Training Center LLC. Mr. Baker is a Christian counselor which means his approach to counseling is "Clinically Descriptive yet Biblically Prescriptive". Counselor Baker uses evidence based therapeutic approaches, strategies, and interventions that fall within the biblical worldview, belief, and understanding of man, problems, and solutions.

 

Counselor Baker treats clients that present with all type of mental and emotional concerns such as anxiety, depression, anger, and conflict but he specializes in couple and family relationship counseling. He works with individuals, adolescent and teens, couples, and families. Specifically focusing on relationships and individuals that are experiencing distress and brokenness.

 

He assists individuals who are desiring meaningful long-term and marital relationships to navigate the confusing differences that are part of a pluralistic society that is absent of any absolutes. He helps individuals recover from traumatic experiences that have left them hopeless and hurt.

Counselor Baker also leads couples that are experiencing distress to rediscover the fire that gives hope and marital satisfaction by addressing the invisible problems of their relationship and not just addressing the visible symptoms.

Counselor Baker steers divorced persons through the confusing maze of the traumatic loss of a broken marriage. He helps parents to co-parent within healthy boundaries for the betterment of their children. He helps the children of the divorce to make sense of their new reality.

He leads divided families to address their disunity and pain from the circumstances of life through divorce, death, blended families, drugs, legal problems/incarceration, secrets, and a host of other family problems. Guiding families through the stages of forgiveness and reconciliation.

Counselor Baker's heart is addressing issues that confront the American couple and family. His most notable thesis is, "The Negative Effect that Pop-Cultural Thought has on American Male and Female Relationships".

Counselor Baker also conducts a variety of seminars/workshops: Conflict: Winning In Dry Places; Blindspots-Navigating Conflict in Relationships; Grief: When the Pain Won’t Go Away; Parenting in the Darkness; Abortion the Untold Truth; Suicide: The Family that Remains; Depression: Battling the Blues; Anxiety: When Your Mind Won’t Rest; and Addictions: Drugs/Alcohol/Sex/Gambling;
